Designs in Print is a program created for student interns to gain real world experience in the Graphic Design industry. This program caters to faculty, staff, and student organizations.

Services offered are print ready designs for but not limited to:

·      Signs
·      Flyers
·      Brochures
·      Newsletters
·      LCD Screens
·      Ads

What this program provides is not only an in depth knowledge of the production aspect of the designs created, making sure files are created properly for print output, but it also allows the opportunity to gain experience through client and printer relations. 

Students leaving this program are one step ahead, having gained entry-level knowledge of the industry. 

Another great advantage are the portfolio pieces they obtain through the program having created professional and user friendly marketing collateral. It truly is a great experience for the interns to also learn about a company’s style guide, as they must comply with Lone Star College’s style book. Every company has a style book they must comply to, so the branding and style remains consistent. Through this process they learn the legality of logo usage and pantone colors.
